PCT Contextual and Holistic Mission

Partners in Mission

The PCT General Assembly maintains close partner relations with a large number of individual church denominations worldwide, and international mission bodies such as the Council for World Mission (CWM) and Mission 21. These valuable partnerships help facilitate the provision and sharing of missionary personnel and other resources for respective mission tasks, mission consultations, leadership training and formation.

One of the significant joys the recent two decades has been to witness the PCT development and shift from being a primarily “receiving” global partner to a very active “sending” partner in terms of peoples and resources.

In addition to sending missionary personnel to serve with international partners the PCT also has pastors working among congregations and communities of overseas Taiwanese in several countries.

PCT young people, students, women, indigenous, lay and clergy are encouraged to participate in various exchanges, short term mission programme and study opportunities to widen their vision and understanding of mission and the ecumenical church family.
