The Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT) extend our sincere sympathy to the families and members of the FKJM Church of Jesus Christ in Madagascar following a bus crash which killed at least 34 children and adults. Passengers on the packed bus were travelling from the central town of Soavinandriana to a church meeting in the north-western coastal port city of Mahajanga when the accident happened.

We understand relatives of Miara Raberaisoa, were directly affected by this fatal accident; Miara and his wife Rebecca (from PCI, Mizoram) are CWM mission partners serving in partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Wales (PCW) - they are currently on leave in Madagascar.
