To coincide with the theme of the Assembly, the morning worships were officiated by three PCT missionaries, sharing their ministries in their respected mission fields. The officiant of the first morning worship was the Rev. Meng-Jer Lee, a PCT missionary in Tokyo, Japan. With the sermon, “God is Love,” he shared his ministry in Japan. The second morning was the Rev. Fu-lan Chen, a PCT missionary in Ethiopia. She shared her ministry of how she challenged the practice of female circumcision, basing her message on the Bible and Christian faith. Her ministry was affirmed by the government and the Church in Ethiopia.
The third day was the Rev. Divan Suqluman, a PCT missionary to Ainu tribe in Hokkaido, Japan. She started by sharing with the Assembly a legend of the Ainu tribe, “An Ainu aged person and a fox,” encouraging every person to share their loaves and fish to the needy. |
