Taiwan Church News 3235 Edition February 24 - March 2, 2014 Church Ministry News Elder Tsai Wang Li-hwa Donated Her Land And House in Taitung For PCT's Youth MinistryReported by Simon Lin PCT's Youth Ministry in Taitung, a East Taiwan Prefecture, was given a great boost by a generous offer from Mrs. Tsai Wang Li-hwa, an Elder from San-ming Presbyterian Church of Sho-san presbytery, donating her inherited land and house located at Zhiben to PCT. This donation is to facilitate the youth ministry there, anticipating to become a missionary operation center in Taitung. On February 21st, a donation and thanksgiving service was held atSan-ming Presbyterian Church, the 90 years' old Elder Tsai Wang Li-hwa and her families were invited to witness this honorable and historic moment. Rev. Lyim Hong-tiong, General Secretary of PCT, represented PCT to accept this donation in this service. Rev. Lyim expressed that the youth ministry became very urgently demanded since Taitung University set up her campus on the Zhiben, Taitung. "After some repair and maintenance, the land and house donated by Elder Tsai will be used as a youth ministry center and minister's dormitory", Rev. Lyim said. Rev. Tsai Fon-zhe, who is the second son of Elder Tsai and also a long term missionary in Europe and China, remarked that the faith is composed of inheritance and proclamation of God's good news.
