World Council of Churches interim general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Ioan Sauca sent a video greeting to the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan’s 65th General Assembly. Sauca reflected that the gathering is occurring amid a global crisis. “This is a moment for you as a Church in Taiwan to demonstrate Christ’s love as it moves you to be vessels of unity and reconciliation,” he said. “You are gathered to discern and make decisions on the future witness and mission of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, and as a member of the fellowship of the World Council of the Churches.” Sauca gave thanks to God for the witness of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan. “Taiwan needs you,” he said. “The worldwide fellowship of churches also needs you. Reaffirming our commitment to strengthen our cooperation and fellowship with you, we pray for your joint work for unity, justice, peace and the dignity of all.” WCC member churches in Taiwan Source→ WCC |
