Especially noteworthy, two most hard-working heroes contributing to build up this wonderful relationship were Dr. Hwang Ming-yuan, Senior Doctor of Emergency Department at MMH and the Epidemiology Professor Till Bachmann in the University of Edinburgh. Dr. Yeh Hong-i hilariously remarked that this MoU between MacKay Memorial Hospital, MacKay Medical College and theUniversity of Edinburgh was a brand new milestone for Taiwan's medical community, because this was the first time ever the University of Edinburgh and her affiliated medical school and hospital building up an overseas relationship with Taiwan.
