This series of events is planed to help ecumenical churches, through reviewing our common Christian origin, traditions and the historical reformation, looking forward to meet various challenges in 21st century and marching toward more innovative developments in a multi-dimensional world.

On August 13, through inviting Mr. Martin Eberts of German Institute in Taiwan to deliver a speech on howGerman faces her historical responsibility via the engagement in transitional justice, PCT launches her first commemorative event of celebrating Reformation 500 at Chi-nan Presbyterian Church.

On October 17, some renown politicians and religious leaders are to be officially invited by PCT to attend acommemorative service and press conference for announcing a series of events to celebrate the Reformation 500 Years.

To help Taiwan church and society appreciate how the legacy of the reformation influences our modernworld, three distinguished German theologians, including Dr. Wolfgang Huber, Fr. Anselm Grün and Dr. Volker Leppin, will come to Taiwan and launch a series of itinerary lectures on Christian ethics, spirituality and human rights respectively from October 2016 to November 2017.
