Stuart Vogel, a pastor now serving in Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand(PCANZ) and also had been a missionary stationed at Gongguan township of Miaoli county 30 years ago, representing PCANZ to donate NT$ 57,700 to the Burn Center of Mackay Memorial Hospital(MMH). Rev. Vogel says, since Water Park Inferno(or Color Asia Play fire) happened in June 2015, it becomes an incessantintercession among the Taiwanese members of PCANZ, who, though only 120 members or so, has always concerned everything happened in their home town - Taiwan. Having learned Rev. Vogel would pay a visit to Taiwan, PCANZ asks him to bring a donation as their sincere concern for the people of Taiwan and the inferno victims. Rev. Chen Jing-sohn, director of chaplaincy department of MMH, explains to Rev. Vogel that the medi-care and spiritualsupport provided by MMH not only focus on the patients' physical injuries, but also stress a "total healing", which means, even the patients are allowed to leave the hospital, they body and mental health will still be monitored and taken care of in the coming next year.
