PCT General Secretary Takes Care and Concern About The Retired Ministers

Reported by Lin Yi-ying

February 13, PCT General Secretary and his co-workers were invited by PCT's Welfare Committee for Ministers in Service and Retirement to pay their respect and concern to those retired ministers at Suang-Lien Elderly Center(SLEC) located in Sanzhi District of New Taipei City.

Rev. Lyim Hong-tiong paid his respect and concern to 11 retired pastors or their spouses in SLEC . Especially when he saw Rev. Jiang Tien-sun who is 105 years now, Rev. Lyim expressed that Rev. Jiang was just about to retire from Mei-kan Church when he was assigned to be a pastor in Hua-lien County. Rev. Lyim expressed his thanksgiving and appreciation on the services that the retired minsters had sacrificed for their whole life and career. Through reporting various PCT ministries and the preparation status of the coming 150th PCT anniversary, Rev. Lyim shared a feast with these retired pastors and wished them a merry Lantern Festival in advance.
