Dear Colleagues in Christ: We are pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the academic year 2015-2016 at Tainan Theological College and Seminary (TTCS), an institution of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, for the programs of Master of Theology (M.Th.) and Master of Religious Studies (M.R.S.). Please help us publicize this great opportunity for deepening one’s theological knowledge through a contextual perspective, while gaining research skills in preparation for more advanced academic degrees in the future. The Application deadline for Admission to TTCS is 1 March 2015. For Scholarship Opportunities see following list and deadlines: Applicants applying for the Church of Scotland (CoS) scholarship, must submit their CoS and TTCS application forms to the CoS before 30 November 2014. Selection of candidates will take place by end of February of 2015. Applicants applying for the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan-Council for World Mission scholarship (also known as the PCT-CWM Scholarship), must submit their CWM and TTCS application forms to CWM by 25 January 2015. Applicants applying for the TTCS scholarship and the PCT Pacific Island Church Scholarship must submit their application to TTCS before 1 March 2015. Please see p.6 of this application package for more information concerning how to apply for scholarships. For applicants from one of the CWM’s member churches, we urge you to apply for a scholarship through the CWM Scholarship Program. The CWM scholarship covers all expenses relating to studying at TTCS, including international travel expenses. Please be sure to send our TTCS application directly to the Empowerment and Training Division of the CWM and also complete CWM’s own application forms. For applicants from one of the Church of Scotland partner churches, we urge you to contact your church’s General Secretary and the Church of Scotland for application forms.
