Studied at Hankook Theological Seminary (B.A.) and Hanshin University (Th.M.)

Received M. Phil and PhD at Drew University (Christian Ethics, 2003)

Was an active member of EYC (Ecumenical Youth Council), URM (Urban Rural Mission), UIM (Urban Industrial Mission) and Association of Minjung Churches

Served as minister of churches in Korea and the U.S.A.

For over 10 years has served as Director of the Institute of the Theological Studies, which offers continuing education to ministers, as well as Dean of the Institute of D. Min. for PROK

Married to Rev. Dr. BAE Hyun Ju, WCC Central Committee member and Professor of Busan Presbyterian University
