The Council for World Mission Assembly that was scheduled to take place in June 2020 was postponed to June 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, member churches, through their appointed delegates, will still exercise their duty to elect the Boards of Directors and Trustees as scheduled. Between 27 May and 17 June 2020, member church delegates will participate in the election via email electronic voting, presided by the Nominations Committee (“NC”). The newly elected Directors and Trustees will be affirmed at the Annual General Meeting (Annual Members Meeting) on 18 June 2020. GETTING TO KNOW THE NOMINEES | Nominees for Moderator and Treasurer | - Profiles for all candidates will be displayed under Voting Booth and also sent to all delegates via email.
- Each candidate will also prepare short video clip in which they will speak to the delegates about why they their desire to be the next Moderator or Treasurer of CWM

ELECTRONIC VOTING
The voting process will be led by the Nominations Committee and supported by the General Secretary, Rev Dr Collin Cowan, and the Executive Secretary, Ms Joreen Wun. The delegates will receive a voting slip via email. All voting slips will be verified by Nominations Committee. Additionally, the Chair of the NC will automatically receive a copy of each email sent to vote@cwmission.org. Please note: Since the Moderator and the Treasurer cannot come from the same region, Once the Chair of the Nominations Committee (NC) announces the Moderator, any candidates for Treasurer who come from the Moderator’s region will be advised to withdraw their candidacy.
